Entering the city from the East Bay, HWY 80, or coming up Oak Street from within the City:

• Take 8th St Exit onto Harrison
• 1 block to 9th St, turn right on 9th, get into one of the 2 left lanes
• Cross Market St, stay in the left lanes
• About 5 blocks make left on Gough Street
• Right on Oak Street
• Follow Oak Street all the way up to Golden Gate Park
• Stay in RIGHT LANE as you enter the park
• This will put you on JFK Blvd.
• you will Pass the Hall of Flowers, The Aquarium and Bandshell complex and the Rose Garden
• Pioneer Meadow EAST is on the Left side of JFK, just BEFORE the entrance to go up to Stow Lake & The Log Cabin.
• Look for the Red, White & Blue Bastille Day Banners & the Severed Heads.

Buses from Within San Francisco:

• 5 Fulton: Get off at Park Presidio, walk into the park, through the Rose Garden, make RIGHT on JFK and The Pioneer Meadow is just around the bend on the left hand side of the road if you are facing towards Ocean Beach.

Rebecca's Bastille Express TAXI Service:

• Since we have to get to the Meadow early to make sure there aren't any squatters, I am offering to pick folks up in my festiva, starting at 11am. I can fit 3 extra people at a time, and I imagine to make 2 or 3 trips, including the original one in. If you don't mind coming in a little early and hangin' and drinkin', I'd love to give you a ride, just email me to let me know and we'll pencil you in and let you know what time to be ready.
